Troubleshooting issues with lists

This article outlines the most common issues you may encounter when managing lists and how to resolve them.
Unable to see expected list items
If you cannot see expected list items:
- Check the Show archived checkbox if looking for older items.
- Verify you have the necessary permissions to view lists.
- Clear any active search filters that may be limiting results.
Unable to create new items
If you cannot create new items:
- Verify you have administrator rights to access.
- Check if an item with the same name already exists in the list.
- Ensure all required fields (especially Title) are filled in.
- Check if the list has limits on the number of active items.
Unable to archive items
If you cannot archive items:
- Check if the item is currently in use by active records (Actions, Incidents, Risks, etc.).
- Verify you have administrative rights to archive items.
- Check if the item is marked as system-required and cannot be archived.
- Check if the item is set as a default value that needs to be replaced before archiving.
Audit trail not showing changes
If the audit trail is not showing changes:
- Ensure your date range filter encompasses the period when changes were made.
- Verify you have rights to view the audit trail.
- Try refreshing the page or closing and reopening the Audit Trail panel.
