Analysing the Universe
Who is this article for?
Users who need to structure their organisation's data hierarchy.
Administrator permission may be required for some steps.
The Universe is the platform's organizational structure that represents where (locations) and what (processes) activities happen in your business, enabling multi-dimensional analysis and reporting across all risk and audit activities.
Once your Universe is set up, you can use the available tools to analyse it.
Visualising the Universe
To visualise your Universe:
- Use the Analyse button to color the hierarchy by metrics (risk, control effectiveness, open actions, etc.).
- Drill into locations or processes to see linked objects.
- Export the hierarchy diagram or data as needed.
Analysing by metrics
Select a metric to color the hierarchy and identify areas needing attention:
