Using browser translation tools
Who is this article for?
Users who need to display Ideagen Audit and Risk in languages other than English.
No special access or permissions are required.
Ideagen Internal Audit and Risk Management does not provide language packs, but you can use built-in browser translation tools to display the interface in your preferred language.
This article explains our approach to translation for the solution and how you can use the third party tools to get a localised experience.
Translation approach
Earlier Ideagen audit and risk products included language packs that enabled you to display the interface in other languages. An early road map for the new Audit and Risk application showed 'language packs' as a placeholder for researching and developing this area, and this work is ongoing.
For many users, in-browser translation tools may provide a reasonable way to deliver translations, including for right-to-left writing systems.
Using translation tools
To translate the system into your preferred language:
- Open Ideagen Internal Audit and Risk Management in your browser.
- Enable your browser's built-in translation tool.
For detailed guidance on using translation tools, refer to your browser's documentation:
Note that Google and Microsoft translation rely on other services, so you should ensure that these meet your requirements for security and privacy.
