This article outlines the solution changes, enhancements, and fixes that have been implemented in the v1.17 release, available from 10 December 2025.
1. Features
Bulk actions
We have dramatically expanded bulk action capabilities across the platform.
You can now select multiple records and apply status changes in bulk for Library objects, Universe objectives, risks, controls, tests, audit execution items, methodology components, questionnaires, review points, and audit problems.
These bulk operations include intelligent validation that respects all business rules and permissions, with options to skip problematic records and continue processing valid ones. This enhancement significantly reduces the time needed to manage large volumes of records.
Flexible system configuration
We are giving System Administrators greater control over the application's functionality with new visibility settings.
You can now hide features that aren't relevant to your organisation, including Incidents, Incident Reports, Principal Risks, and various types of assurances (Risk, Objective, and Control Assurances).
These settings ensure users only see the functionality they need, reducing complexity and improving focus on relevant workflows.
Enhanced Audit planning and resource management
Audit resource planning has been improved with clearer context for scheduling calculations and better visibility of conflicting audits.
When assigning resources, you'll see detailed information about availability calculations, conflicting dates, and total hours assigned. The system now allows audit assignments to be reflected directly in role assignments, streamlining the process of building audit teams based on planned resources.
Improved data export capabilities
Export functionality has been enhanced to include search terms and filters in Excel exports, ensuring exported data matches what you see on screen.
Team timesheet exports now include comprehensive data for all users within a period, including tasks, sub-tasks, comments, and time entries.
User Experience (UX) refinements
We have introduced a few UX refinements for a better experience:
- Groups now display their associated locations and processes, making it easier to understand access permissions at a glance.
- Audit details include a new "Assign to" option for better ownership management.
- Error messages for file uploads now provide clearer feedback when uploads fail due to size restrictions.
2. Fixes
We have resolved numerous issues to improve system stability and reliability:
- Fixed issues with status changes for Actions returning to Draft status.
- Resolved custom field creation problems for Date/Time and Yes/No field types.
- Corrected display issues for RTF fields and pop up behaviours.
- Fixed attachment handling across various modules.
- Resolved permission visibility issues for various buttons and commands.
- Corrected audit time allocation calculations during upgrades.
- Fixed overlapping menu displays and text layout issues at various screen resolutions.
- Resolved questionnaire deletion and transition viewing errors.
- Corrected various UI refresh and display synchronisation issues.
