No special access or permissions are required.
Ideagen Internal Audit and Risk management incorporates a blacklist list of file extensions. A file with one of the listed extensions cannot be uploaded.
This article describes file extension blocking in practice, and contains a list of denied file types.

This blacklist cannot be changed by users, it is built into the application. If you would like additional file types to be denied, please make an enhancement request.
