This article outlines the product changes, enhancements, and fixes that have been implemented in the v1.11 release, available from 4 June 2025.
This release introduces significant functionality improvements across user permissions, questionnaire visibility, audit workflows, interface refinements, and backend configuration.
1. Features
Audit Problems
This release introduces a new Problems feature, enabling thematic grouping of findings and structured tracking of associated reviews, notes, and actions. These are available within the Audit and have their own resolution, similar to findings.
Questionnaire enhancements
Questionnaires can now be associated with specific audit phases and steps, enhancing contextual visibility and supporting more granular survey deployment and tracking.
Audit enhancement
We have added a My Audit Work page, summarising user responsibilities by Audit object with progress tracking. This allows the user to see all their responsibilities in one place.
Permission and role control
Discrete permissions for completing, approving, and managing ownership and teams on Audit and Risk records have been added. This allows for separation of duties in completing and approving audit work, should your department require the enhanced control.
Additionally, we have improved the user experience of assigning roles, clearly differentiating between mandatory and optional roles, and simplifying team setup with inline tagging.
Timesheet management
Users can now see organisation-defined limits (min/max hours, working days, overtime rules) at the top of the timesheet grid, providing clarity and ensuring compliance.
This release also introduces the ability to add and edit comments per time entry, enhancing communication and accountability for submitted hours.
Universe enhancements
Administrators can now assign groups directly to processes for controlled access. A new Groups tab in Processes (within Universe) supports this assignment. This is similar to the groups functionality that already exists for Locations, which together allows for precision in access control.
Also, Locations and Processes can now include subtype-specific custom fields, aligning their configurability with other object types.
Filtering and query enhancements
Improved filtering in audit execution and registers now includes custom fields and blank/null handling. This offers Excel-like control for precise data segmentation.
Query functionality has also been extended across child registers in Universe, Audit, and Risk, standardising analytical capabilities throughout the software.
Other usability enhancements
Additional usability enhancements have been included in this release:
- Export and UI polishing - Questionnaire exports now include timestamp columns. There is also enhanced clarity and spacing applied across object drawers and register interactions.
- Notifications and watchers - Notifications for action progress updates now trigger for watchers and team members, with users gaining control over record-level notification preferences.
2. Fixes
There are a number of bug fixes included in this release:
- UI consistency and clarity - Fixed various UI bugs, including missing alerts on duplicate entries, unresponsive buttons in phase creation, and outdated field values in edit drawers.
- Error handling and validation - Introduced input constraints and graceful error handling to prevent errors in questionnaires and resolve unexplainable modal blocks in library phase status updates.
- Audit execution reliability - Resolved issues where objectives under rolled-forward audits triggered errors.
