Troubleshooting licenced user losing access to the licenced functionality

You might find that after changing a user's licence type, or changing their group membership, they lose access to the expected functionality.
This article explains how how to resolve the issue.
1. Issue
When changing a user's licence or their group membership, they might get out of sync with their licence.
They may experience this as seeing a 401 error when attempting to log in, or by seeing restricted functionality.
2. Solution
To resolve the issue:
- Go to your Licence Management page.
- Revoke the licence for the affected user.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Assign the licence again.
The user should now be able to log in as expected.
