Creating an audit type

Audit module access is required.
An audit is an independent examination of operations, or processes of an organisation to provide assurance on their accuracy, reliability, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
To help you manage the different categories of audits, the system gives you the option to create audit types.
This article shows you how to add an audit type to the system.
1. Creating an audit type
- Open the Audit menu.
- Select Audit Types.
- Click Create Audit Type.
- Enter a Title.
This should be a user friendly name.
- Pick a Color for the type.
- Set a Key Date Warn Length.
This is the number of days before notifications are sent to stakeholders named on an audit using this type.
- Set the Review Length.
This is the number of days an auditor would have to complete a review of an audit using this type.
- Add an optional Description.
- Click Save.
