New Key Dates not available when creating Audits
Who is this article for?Administrators unable to see created Key Dates in Audits.
Application Administrator permissions are required.
Key Dates are held in a list, so adding new Key Dates is done in the Administration module. Once created, Key Dates will not immediately appear or become available in Audits.
This article explains why, and how to make new Key Dates available in new Audits.
1. Issue
After adding a Key Date, you don't see it included in a new Audit.
This is because Key Dates are associated with Audit Types, so in order to make a new Key Date available you have to add it to an Audit Type prior to creating a new Audit.
2. Solution
To resolve this:
- Go to Audit.
- Select Audit Types.
- Choose the Audit Type for which you want this Key Date to be available.
- Click Add Key Date.
- Select the Key Date required.
- Click Save.
When you create a new Audit with this Type, the new Key Date will now be included.
Existing Audits will not inherit the new Key Date after you've added it to the Audit Type. There is no mechanism to retrospectively add a Key Date to an Audit.
