Creating an Objective

Risk module access is required.
Objectives are a primary way of tracking your organisation's progress towards certain targets. This article shows you how to create new Objectives and assign them to appropriate team members.

To create an Objective:
- Access the Risk menu.
- Select Objectives.
- Click Create Objective.
- Select Create new to create an Objective from scratch.
We will walk through the Get from library option later.
- Enter a name for your Objective in the Title field.
- Select a Type from the dropdown.
- Set a Next Assurance date.
- Enter a Description for the Objective.
- Click Next.
- Select a Location.
This is the site the Objective will be applicable to.
- Click Next.
- Choose an optional Process.
This is the Process the Objective will be part of.
- Click Next.
- Assign Roles to those the Objective is relevant to.
- Click Save.
You can also create an Objective from an existing template.
To create an Objective from a template:
- Click Create Objective.
- Choose Get from library.
- Select a Template.
- Click Next.
- Complete Location and Owner details as required.
- Click Save.
Your Objective will now appear in the Objectives list.
