Managing an Objective

Risk module access is required.
As you work on an Objective, you may need to update its details, or remove it from your records once completed to keep your data tidy. This article walks you through the steps to manage an existing Objective.

To manage an Objective:
- Access the Risk menu.
- Select Objectives.
- Open the Objective you want to edit.
- Click Options.
- Choose Edit to update the Objective information.
- Update Title, Next Assurance, and Description (in Details tab).
- Change Location (in Location tab).
- Assign a different Process as needed (in Process tab).
- Update responsibility assignment (in Team tab).
- Click Save.
To delete an Objective, choose the Delete option. You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the record.
To archive an Objective, choose the Set as Archived option.
Alternatively, you can trigger either option from the Actions menu to the right of the Objective record.
Not seeing the "Set as Archived" option?
This option will only be available once an Objective has been activated.
Archived Objective will still appear on the Objectives list when you filter for records with the Archived status.
