Before you can start using your Control Matrix, you need to establish the control criteria, including likelihoods and impacts. This article shows you how to tailor the Matrix to your needs.

To configure a Matrix:

1. Open a draft Matrix.

2. Change Matrix display using the Appearance menu.

3. Select Set cell bandings.
4. Click the radio button next to a banding.
5. Click the fields that need to be assigned that banding.
   You can click Reset any time before saving to revert the grid to its original state.

6. Click Save changes when done.
7. Switch to the second tab.
   Its name will change depending on the items added to the Matrix during creation.

8. To edit an entry, click its name or the Pencil icon.

9. Update the Label, Title, and Description as needed.
10. Click Save.
