Managing a Control Matrix

Risk module access is required.
Control Matrices can be reused, but you will often need to update, archive, or delete them to keep your records tidy. This article walks you through the steps to manage an existing Control Matrix.

To manage a Matrix:
- Open the Risk menu.
- Select Control Matrices.
- Open the Matrix you want to manage.
- Click Options.
- Choose Edit to update the Matrix details.
From this modal, you can change the Matrix name and description. - Click Save.

Choose Delete to delete a Matrix.
This option is only available for draft Matrices. -
Click Yes, delete to confirm.
- Choose Set as Archived to deactivate a Matrix.
This option is only available once a Matrix has been activated.
Archived Matrices can be viewed and reactivated from the Control Matrices view.
