1.2. Steps
- Access the Incidents module.
- Click Incidents.
- There are two ways to change the Incident Status. The first is to click the three dots button under Actions.
- The dropdown will show the following options: Set as Draft, Set as Completed, Set as Closed and Delete. As this Incident is considered Open, that option will not show.
- Select the Status you want to change the Incident to.
- The new Status will appear under Status. In this example, it has been adjusted to Draft.
- To adjust the Status back to open, click the three dots button again, then Click Set as Open.
- For Open, Draft and Completed Statuses, they will show in the same place in the list. However, if you adjust a Status to Closed it may disappear from view. This is because there is an automatic filter that removes Closed Incidents. To view the Incident easily, click Clear in the filter options.
- As shown here, the Closed Incident appears in view.
- The second way to change an Incident Status is by selecting the Incident you want to adjust the Status of.
- Within the Incident, select the three dots button next to Options.
- Choose a new Status for the Incident.
- The adjusted Status will appear next to the Incident name.
