When setting an ORCT record to Active you may encounter the message Cannot set as Active! […] The following roles must be assigned, and have to cancel the operation. This article describes the cause and how to resolve.
1. Issue
ORCT records have a Type, and each Type may have roles assigned to it. For example you might assign roles to an Objective Type, and then select that Objective Type for a library Objective.
When you get an ORCT record from the library you must assign people to any required roles before the record can be set Active.
If you do not fill the required roles before setting the record Active then then you will see an error message like this:
2. Solution
To resolve the issue:
- In the Audit-level record, scroll down to the lower part of the screen, and select the Team heading, e.g.:
- Select Manage team to fill the required roles.
