1. Issue
When creating your first risk or control matrix, you may encounter the following error message:
'The object' has no active values
If you check the Developer Tools console (F12), you'll see this appears as a 400 (Bad Request) error. This error occurs because the system requires bandings to be set up before creating any matrices.
2. Solution
- Go to the Administration menu, select Lists.
- If you are having this problem when adding a risk matrix:
- Select Risk Bandings.
- Click Create Risk Banding and add a new one.
- If you are having this problem when adding a control matrix:
- Select Control Bandings.
- Click Create Control Banding and add a new one.
